Atlassian is leaving on-prem behind
Atlassian ended support for its self-hosted Server products in February 2024, and it has put its Data Center line on the same road: no new Data Center subscriptions for new customers as of 2026, no new licenses or expansions after 2028, and everything read-only in March 2029. The one path forward Atlassian offers is its cloud.
For a regulated or air-gapped organization, that is not a path. If your data cannot live in a vendor's multi-tenant cloud for residency, privacy, or compliance reasons, moving to Atlassian Cloud is a non-starter. That is the gap we close.

Why into Adaptive Reservoir
Reservoir is a private, governed platform: an AI knowledge base, plus a self-hosted alternative to Jira and Confluence (Adaptive Work and Adaptive Knowledge). It runs on-premise or in your own cloud, hardened with SSO and IP whitelisting so it is only reachable from inside your network. Why can't we just move to Atlassian Cloud?
